Ivisualise Player launched with Just Jack
You are cordially invited to the official launch of the Ivisualise Player at http://www.ivisualise.de
Watch award winning documentaries, short films and music videos full screen and uninterrupted on the free new service, provided by Jamie McDine and Ivisualise. You can also sign the guest book and comment on the films you watch, using the blog at the site.
To celebrate the release of his new album "All Night Cinema" we are launching the Ivisualise Player with the previously unseen film Just Jack: The Outer Marker. The 30 minute film combines an intimate interview with the UK star, together with live performances from his debut album, including the stunning "Snowflakes" and a sneak preview of "No Time". The film was recorded and produced in 2003 at London's famous Jazz Café.
A new film will be added every two weeks for your viewing pleasure. I hope you enjoy the Ivisualise Player and look forward to welcome you back in the future as more films are added. There will also be exclusive FC Magdeburg films from the "Blauweiss" archives!
Please support the Ivisualise Player by forwarding this information to all of your friends, family, colleagues and students. We would also be very grateful if you could spread the word, by posting details about the service on blogs, websites, forums, newsletters, facebook, twitter and any other means possible!
Thanks and best wishes,
Jamie

"Sehnsucht" jetzt Online!

http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm

To celebrate the launch of his new album "My Way", we have something very special from the Ivisualise archives, featuring my favourite singer Ian Brown.
In 2004 I produced the official website for Ian Brown and his album "Solarized" which had 4 million hits in the first 3 weeks! As well as designing and programming the site, I also helped manage the message board and produced video content for the site.
In 2005 many fans submitted artwork, illustrations, animations, photographs and videos, all to represent Ian Brown's Kiss Ya Lips (No I.D.) which I edited and produced. This was an excellent community project and really brought together the creative skills of fans from across the world.
Ian loved the video, but until now it has been unseen by the fans. So here it is in all it's glory on the Ivisualise Player: http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm
Enjoy the film and please leave a message in the guest book!

Ian Brown has been moved into the archive, along with all the other films previously featured on the Ivisualise Player, to be enjoyed forever and replaced on the homepage by the multi-award winning short film "Weiter".
"Weiter" tells the story of Somsak Kitdee, a young man from Thailand, and his relationship with the city of Magdeburg. Studying in a different culture, on a different continent and in a different language, he explains how his homeland and the former East German city are not so different.
This 3 minute film was produced in 2005 to celebrate the 1200th birthday of the city of Magdeburg. It won several local and regional film awards, including the prestigious "Mitteldeutsche Rundfunkpreis" and was used to represent the city, as well as being screened twice on national television channel MDR. It was used as a promotional film for the city in cinemas, online and on cable television in Germany as well as being screened at international film festivals!
One of the most satisfying responses to the film has been from my friends and fellow inhabitants of the city of Magdeburg (where I lived for 4 years) who kept telling me "I can't believe that's Magdeburg... it looks so cool in your film!" And that's the point of the film - it was to take a very different look at the city, from a point of view that maybe the local inhabitants haven't thought of or seen before. Their city is now just like any modern major city in the world, with a fantastic transport system, neon lights, shops and architecture, international visitors and residents... and above all, very friendly welcoming people.

I have been delivering a lot of film and animation workshops in schools over the past few months, which have been very enjoyable. One of the projects I mentored at Matravers in Westbury has made it into the 'Creative Juice' exhibition last Saturday (7th November) in Salisbury. The film "Too Much Too Young" was shown together with the Generation Europa film, produced by Wiltshire students during the Summer in Germany on an international summer school I organised with the Offener Kanal in Magdeburg. The animation will be added to the Ivisualise Player very soon.

The artist, new films and wedding photography!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and enjoyed the snow. It's a New Year and I've begun a new job, as 'artist in residence' at Matravers School. It's very enjoyable working with kids aged 11-18 on a variety of subjects and projects, delivered mainly through film, animation and photography, and working with some particularly motivated and talented staff. If you'd like to read more, there is an article online here:
http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/4853422.Jamie_goes_back_to_school_at_Westbury/
One animated film I made with Year 11 students last year (Too Much Too Young) was shown at a film festival in India last week and will be shown at the Preloader festival in Wiltshire next month. The film is in the archive on the Ivisualise Player if you'd like to watch it. And the featured film on the site this week is an animation with the local community in Westbury at a taster day:
http://www.ivisualise.de/ivisplayer.htm
Whilst I have been adding to my portfolio and range of services (I now produce beautiful wedding videos in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset), Jackie is also working as a portrait and wedding photographer, shooting and editing wedding photos for a very competitive (cheap) rate! Check out some of her work and information here:
http://www.ivisualise.co.uk/photography/
As always, if you know of anyone getting married in South West England, anyone who may be interested in our work, or may just enjoy watching the odd film for free, then please pass this email on. I'd also love to see some of your feedback or the odd message on the guest book of the website, or on each individual video via the Vimeo link.
On days when I am not at school, I am currently producing corporate films and commercial work, as well as delivering workshops for various organisations and schools, so if you have a project or an idea, then please do get in touch!
Best wishes for a happy, healthy and successful 2010,
Jamie

Endlich mal!
